For the fourth consecutive year, A.T. Kearney received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2014 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The 2014 CEI rated 934 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. A.T. Kearney’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
“Tom Kearney, who founded our firm nearly 90 years ago, famously said ‘The true strength of this firm, as in any organization, lies in the fact that we are all different,’” said Johan Aurik, manaing partner and chairman of the board of A.T. Kearney. “These words continue to inspire our actions and infuse our culture. We are committed to providing everyone at A.T. Kearney with opportunities for unsurpassed personal growth in a collaborative and diverse culture. It’s essential for all of our people to feel comfortable being their true selves while working in any environment in any part of the world. This diversity of insight and experience enriches both our own culture and, in turn, how we serve clients. We will always strive to do better, but scoring 100 on the Corporate Equality Initiative is welcome recognition of our commitment.”
